Abortion -what do u think?

Well, as much as I hate abortion, it's obvious it's the woman's choice. So, yes it's wrong, but on the other hand, it's not like somebody can stop you. So it's you to blame if you kill the child and regret it afterwards.

Also, what about the dad? Doesn't he get a say on what happens to his child?

Personally I think not. This is a tough decision to make and it would lead to abuse one way or another, but I prefer to give more rights to women than men.

Men have it too easy to find another wife that'd raise their children... and if it's not easy after all, we'd get a healthy amount of bachelors. (excuse my sarcasm please)

Well, no offense, but I still think that the dad should at least have the right to talk it over with his wife.

It is his child. And isn't it hers as well?
I know what you're trying to point out. That if preference was given always to the mother then she could use the legal rules to challenge her husband when he is the honest fellow. But the same situation could exist if too much faith was rested in the father.

One solution that sounds like a compromise is to give each case an independent look, checking it like a new situation. If the reasons I listed apply, then maybe the mother deserves a slight preference when other factors seem inconclusive... Hence, this is what happens now. Is it good or bad? I'm not sure I should judge.

It could be worse...

I believe that abortion is not an option. If two people choose to have sex, they should be prepared for all possibilities that should bring.

Then again, I am a bit old fashioned...
