It's got it all: Action, comedy, romance, drama... what more could you ask for?  This time, the hero is not some wimp, he actually cool, bad-ass and has strong, yet simple powers.  The girl has powers of her own as well.  Even the little brother can hold his own.  Yeah!

Four years ago, Kazuma Kannagi was defeated by his cousin Ayano Kannagi for the ownership of the Enraiha, a powerful fire sword.  Since the Kannagi family is a family of fire users, Kazuma's father banished him because he brought disgrace to their name.  Now, Kazuma returns to the city as a wind user, and a very powerful one as well.  He changes his surname to Yagami as well to remove all relations with the Kannagis.  But a series of events and blames make him and the Kannagis cross paths, and now Kazuma helps out Ayano to fight against evil.

Thank mela-chan for this one.  I can't really comment on this because it's been a while since I last watched it.

A year ago, a UFO filled with alien, but human women, crash landed on earth.  They call themselves "DearS" and their purpose is to please and serve their masters.  Ikuhara Takeya, a high school student, is not interested in such things.  But one day, he found a girl shivering in the bushes.  She was one of them, but she was kinda different from the rest.  This is because the DearS consider her as malfunctioning, and they are after her.  Still, Takeya started teaching her the basics of regular life and is currently taking care of her.  As their relationship develops, Takeya learns more about DearS.

This is a very funny anime.  The best part is the fact that this anime "takes care in being aware of it's audience".  This anime will be remembered by me for a long time.  I highly recommend to watch this.

Hayate Ayasaki is a very earnest and hardworking person who lives with good-for-nothing parents.  They have racked up a huge debt and left town, giving it to Hayate as a Christmas present.  This debt was owed to the Yakuza, and when they came for him, he narrowly escaped their clutches.  At the park, he meets a girl who doesn't know how to use a vending machine.  Because he was down on his luck, Hayate decides to kidnap the girl for ransom money.  But the words that he used was mistook by the girl as a confession of love.  But because he saved her, twice, and asked her for a job, he becomes her butler at her mansion.  But being "her" butler is no easy task, and Hayate will soon find out the true meaning of being a Sanzenin butler.

Mizuho Miyanokouji is transfered into an all-girls school despite being a boy. This is because of the last will of his grandfather who wanted him to attend the same school his mother did. In order to let no one know that he´s actually a boy Mizuho crossdresses in order to attend the school as a female.

This is a good anime.  The characters are really varied and the main characters have their own charm.  Though I think production was rushed because the crowds or ppl who don't take part in anime are just white shadows.  Nonetheless, it makes no bearing on the quality of this anime.  I recommend to watch.


Ren Uesugi and his sister Mihato ran away from home to escape the daily abuse of their father.  They arrived at a city and went off looking for a live-in job, but couldn't find any.  The next day, Ren saves a girl from heat stroke and takes her home, which happened to be the Kuonji mansion.  This was home to that girl, Miyu, their older sister and famous composer, Shinra, and their youngest sister, Yume.  After Mihato explains their situation, they are offered jobs to work at the mansion.  But because Ren is unmannered and a bit roudy, he has been given a one week probation period to prove his worth.
